Our product line originated with our Raspberry Morning Liquid Multivitamin, developed by MaryRuth as a result of her experiences in her early practice as a health educator and nutritional consultant. MaryRuth found, in coaching her customers with Liquids Till Lunch, that her clients felt nauseated by taking their capsule supplements on an empty stomach. She wanted to create an easy-to-take product that tasted great and so, the first product — our Raspberry Multi — was created!

We have a wide variety of liquid supplements available, ranging from droppers to sprays to liposomals, which are unique in their delivery form and provide increased bioavailability with liposomal technology! The great thing about many liquid supplements is that you can adjust the dose to meet your supplementing needs or those of your family.

We believe that making the best supplements for your health means creating products with non-GMO, plant-based, organic, vegan ingredients, with the fewest number of allergens possible.

All of our dietary supplements are vegan, meaning they are formulated without animal products, animal byproducts, or any ingredients derived from animal sources. This includes the exclusion of common animal-derived components such as gelatin, dairy, eggs, honey, collagen, shellfish, and lanolin. We carefully select plant-based or lab-produced alternatives to ensure that each formula aligns with vegan standards while maintaining quality, efficacy, and integrity.

Yes! Each lot of our products are third party tested for content claims and potential contaminants (like microbial and heavy metals). To ensure product quality and safety, MaryRuth's only uses ISO 17025 Certified labs for our third party testing. The Certificate of Analysis (CoA) must pass our standards to be released for sale. It’s important to us to be able to provide our customers with quality products so you feel comfortable trusting our brand, and confident in your health choices!

We are also excited to mention that we have been working on getting our products certified by the Clean Label Project! The Clean Label project is a non-profit that focuses on bringing awareness to environmental contaminants in consumer products, and certifying products that meet testing requirements. Clean Label Project (CLP) is on the frontier of food safety, working to shift the curve from the bare minimum of federal standards to a higher standard of food safety. In addition to this work, CLP certifies products that meet rigorous testing requirements. 

Here at MaryRuth’s, we’re voluntarily thinking about food safety differently, and we are proud to say that we are Clean Label Project Brand Certified. At this time, we have 71 individual products certified by the Clean Label Project, and we are actively working on adding more products from our catalog to this list. These products have earned their certification after being tested for hundreds of industrial and environmental contaminants and toxins.

We believe in the mission of CLP, and, considering the realities of societal choices around mining, fracking, and industrial agriculture, we want to do our part to make sure we are making clean and pure products! Sugar Alcohols do not contain any kind of drinking alcohol, though the molecular structure does resemble sugar and part is similar to alcohol. They differ from sugar in caloric content and health impact, since the body digests them differently.

Sugar alcohols, also called polyols, are carbohydrates that are not completely metabolized by the body, converting to glucose more slowly than other carbohydrates and requiring little to no insulin to be metabolized. For example, xylitol, one sugar alcohol that we use, has 40% fewer calories than sugar, and is significantly lower on the glycemic inde.

MaryRuth’s uses sugar alcohols in some of our products to make them more palatable and as a great sugar substitute for many of our products!
